Drama Factory strives to provide a safe place for kids to be themselves and to be creative.

Meet the team

Lucy Van Campenhout

Lucy was raised in theatre with both parents working backstage in theatre so you could say its in her DNA.

She joined many theatre productions and focused her higher education on drama eventually going on to complete a BA Hon in Acting.

This then went on to working with TUI as an overseas entertainer working in hotels in Spain, Greece and even Lapland as one of Santa’s helpers.

She moved to Belgium in 2017 to be with her husband and became a member of BATs and performed in many shows with them.

This then opened the door to EYT and becoming a teacher with them for fours years until the Antwerp classes became Drama Factory.

Lucy hope to grow Drama Factory so that more kids can have a safe place to be expressive and celebrated for there uniqueness.

A Brief History

In 2026 Drama factory was founded as a successor to the Antwerp branch of the English Youth Theatre (EYT). The teacher of that class, Lucy, may have taken over, but continues working towards the same goal: To create a safe space for young adults to find themselves, and learn how to express their unique personalities through performance.

The rest of the history of this young company is yet to be made, and we'd love your help in making it.
